Houston loves a fresh clean
Real reviews from real jobs. Every one below was left by a customer on our Thumbtack profile, where you can read them all.
He arrived on time, communicated well and he did a great job. He didn’t leave until he got the stains out. I appreciate the attention to detail, very polite and respectful. 10/10 experience, I would definitely recommend him to any and everyone!
I’m so impressed with how my sofa turned out! It looks and feels so fresh and clean, and it honestly feels like I have a brand new sofa. The service was professional, thorough, and worth every penny. You can definitely tell he takes pride in his work.
I had two sofas and two armchairs that had accumulated several stains over the years from everyday life. I honestly wasn’t sure how they’d be treated but Kirill worked absolute magic. He took the time to inspect the fabric and explain exactly how he would treat the different stains. The colors are bright and the fabric looks, feels and smells like new again.
Kirill was very professional and did an amazing job on my sofa. He explains his process and is very knowledgeable about what he does. My couch is spotless and clean again, definitely will be reaching out again the next time I need my couch cleaned!
Great, got the job done, cleaned the sofa and more importantly came back to clean a stubborn rust stain on the carpet that I was told by another company was “permanent”.
Kirill was awesome. Very responsive, he was punctual, very friendly, his price is GREAT for the value of work he provides, and he’s very professional. He did an excellent job on my sectional. Some movers had gotten it really dirty during my move and Kirill restored it! 10/10 highly recommend!
I want to express my sincere gratitude to Kirill for the incredible job he did. My chairs were in terrible condition, but he truly gave them a second life! Mold, stains, dirt and grease are all completely gone. The results are simply unbelievable.
Kirill did a great job deep cleaning my sofa. He explained the procedure and the time frame needed. He was a great communicator and explained the prices for the services he provides. Was very punctual and responsive during the whole process.

Hi, I’m Kirill
I own Fresh Sofa Cleaning HTX and I clean every piece myself. The person you book is the person who shows up at your door.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in oil and gas refining technology — organic chemistry at its core. That is not a line to sound clever — it is why I can tell how a solution will behave on a given fabric, which stains respond to an enzyme treatment and which need something else, and where the wrong product would set a stain instead of lifting it.
I work on sofas, sectionals, mattresses and area rugs. The product and the method are chosen for the material and its condition, not from one recipe for every job. No rushing off to the next address.

Sofa & carpet cleaning questions, answered
How much does sofa cleaning cost in Houston?
The price depends on your sofa and the cleaning level you choose. We consider:
- Size and number of seats — A two-seat loveseat usually costs less than a three-seat sofa, while a large sectional costs more.
- Upholstery material — Different fabrics and materials require different levels of care. For example, leather and some specialty materials may cost more to clean than standard microfiber.
- Cushions — Removable cushions require additional work, especially when they need to be cleaned on both sides.
- Sofa design — Buttons, deep tufting, metal or plastic details, complex seams, and other decorative features can increase the time required for cleaning.
- Condition — Heavy soil, stains, pet hair, and odors may require additional treatment.
Three Cleaning Options
Optional Services
You can also add:
- Accelerated drying
- Fabric protection
- Heavy pet hair removal
- Odor removal
- Special stain treatment
Some upholstery materials require additional or accelerated drying. In these cases, drying may be charged separately.
Want to Know the Exact Price? Text a photo of your sofa to 747-466-6608 or use the form on our website to upload a photo. We’ll look at the size, material, condition, and design of your sofa and provide you with an exact price before booking. Your 20% promotional discount is applied automatically.
How long does professional cleaning take?
Professional cleaning typically takes 2 to 8 hours, depending on the size of the item or area, its condition, level of soiling, and the service package selected.
A simple basic cleaning usually takes less time. A deep cleaning with additional treatments, more intensive stain removal, and professional drying can take up to 8 hours.
The selected service package — Basic, Standard, or Premium — can also affect the total cleaning time, since each package includes a different level of treatment and additional services.
Every job is different. Before we begin, we assess the item or area, its condition, and the level of cleaning required. We then let you know in advance how much time we expect the cleaning to take.
How long does a sofa take to dry after professional cleaning?
Most sofas take approximately 4–8 hours to dry completely, depending on the type of upholstery material, the condition of the sofa, and the cleaning method used.
Some materials dry faster, while thicker or more absorbent fabrics may take longer. Good air circulation, air conditioning, and fans can help speed up the drying process.
An optional accelerated drying service is also available. Using professional drying equipment, the drying time can be reduced to approximately 1–2.5 hours, depending on the material and conditions.
This is especially convenient if you need to use your sofa again the same day.
Can you remove stains from a couch?
In most cases, yes. We have professional cleaning products and treatments for many different types of stains, and we always do our best to achieve the best possible result.
However, we cannot guarantee that every stain will be removed 100%. Some stains are very old and may have permanently changed or damaged the color of the upholstery fibers. In these cases, cleaning alone may not be enough to completely restore the original appearance.
Fortunately, this is not the most common situation. Most stains can be significantly improved or completely removed with the proper treatment. Before we begin, we’ll evaluate the stain and let you know what results you can reasonably expect.
Is upholstery cleaning safe for kids and pets?
Professional upholstery cleaning can be safe when cleaning products are used correctly and proper safety precautions are followed.
If you have children or pets in your home, please let us know before we begin the cleaning. This allows us to take appropriate safety precautions and advise you on how to keep them safe during and after the cleaning.
There are no completely risk-free cleaning chemicals. Any cleaning product can be harmful if it is used incorrectly or without proper precautions. That is why we follow the manufacturer’s instructions for every product and take appropriate safety measures during each cleaning.
While cleaning products are being applied, children, pets, and other people should stay away from the work area. We recommend keeping everyone at least 6 feet (2 meters) away while we are working with cleaning solutions.
Some treatments may require products with a stronger chemical odor. These products may sometimes be used when treating urine, persistent odors, or pet-related contamination. If such a product is needed for your furniture, we will always inform you in advance.
When working with certain strong-odor products, our technician may wear a protective respirator in accordance with the product’s instructions and appropriate safety precautions. When such products are being used, everyone except the technician should leave the room until the treatment is completed and the area has been properly ventilated.
After cleaning, the upholstery is thoroughly extracted to remove cleaning solution and excess moisture. We also check the treated surface before the furniture is returned to use.
We recommend not using the sofa or allowing children or pets onto cleaned upholstery or carpets until they are completely dry.
Do you clean sectional sofas?
Yes — sectional sofas are one of our most requested services. We clean all types of sectionals, including L-shaped and U-shaped sofas.
The price depends on the size of the sectional, number of seats, number of cushions, upholstery material, overall condition, and design details. Sectionals with removable cushions, deep seams, buttons, tufting, or other decorative details may require additional time and care.
Depending on the cleaning level you choose, we can clean the seats, back cushions, arms, sides, front and other accessible areas. Removable cushions can be cleaned separately on both sides when included in the selected cleaning service.
For larger or heavily soiled sectionals, additional treatment may be recommended for stains, pet hair, odors, or other problem areas.
Do you clean mattresses?
Yes — we clean mattresses of all common sizes, including Twin, Twin XL, Full (Double), Queen, King, and California King.
Mattress cleaning helps remove body oils, sweat, dust, odors, and surface stains. The cleaning process is adjusted according to the type and condition of the mattress.
The price depends on the size of the mattress, its condition, the type of material, the amount and type of contamination, and any additional treatment that may be needed.
For mattresses with heavy stains, persistent odors, or organic contamination, including urine, blood, sweat, and other biological contamination, additional stain and odor treatment may be required.
We use a professional two-step cleaning process.
First, the mattress is treated with an alkaline cleaning solution to help break down and remove organic contamination, body oils, and other soils.
The mattress is then thoroughly extracted using an acidic water-based solution. This helps remove loosened soils, cleaning solution residue, and excess moisture.
The mattress must be allowed to dry completely before use.
Drying time depends on the mattress material and condition, room temperature, humidity, and ventilation. An accelerated drying service may also be available if you need the mattress to dry faster.
Do you provide carpet cleaning in Houston?
Yes. We provide professional carpet cleaning throughout the Houston area. We clean wall-to-wall carpeting, carpeted stairs, and area rugs using professional equipment and Hot Water Extraction (HWE) with professional alkaline pre-treatment and a heated acidic rinse solution.
How long does carpet take to dry after professional cleaning?
After professional cleaning, carpets typically require 8 to 48 hours to dry completely.
Drying time depends on the type and thickness of the carpet, level of soiling, amount of moisture, temperature, humidity, and airflow in the room.
We use professional extraction to remove as much moisture as possible. When needed, we can also use professional air movers to help speed up the drying process.
Can you remove stains from carpet?
We can treat many types of carpet stains, including food and drink spills, dirt, grease, and other contaminants.
Results depend on the type of stain, how long it has been present, how deeply it has penetrated the carpet, and whether other cleaning products have previously been used.
Some old or chemically altered stains may not be completely removable. We assess the condition of the carpet before treatment and select an appropriate cleaning method.
What carpet cleaning method do you use?
We use professional Hot Water Extraction (HWE) with a multi-step cleaning process.
First, the carpet is thoroughly vacuumed to remove loose, dry soil. A professional alkaline pre-treatment is then applied to help break down and release dirt, oils, and other soils from the carpet fibers.
After the appropriate dwell time, the solution is mechanically agitated when appropriate to improve soil separation and removal.
The carpet is then cleaned using Hot Water Extraction. During the extraction process, a heated acidic rinse solution is passed through the carpet while powerful vacuum recovery simultaneously removes the solution along with suspended soils and remaining alkaline pre-treatment residues.
The acidic rinse helps neutralize residual alkalinity from the pre-treatment and thoroughly rinse the carpet.
Our cleaning process: Alkaline pre-treatment → dwell time → mechanical agitation → Hot Water Extraction with heated acidic rinse.
Can you remove pet stains and odors from carpet?
Yes. We offer specialized treatment for pet stains and odors.
For organic contamination, including urine and other biological contaminants, an enzyme treatment may be used when appropriate.
Results depend on how deeply the contamination has penetrated the carpet and padding. If contamination has reached deeply into the padding or subfloor, complete odor removal may not be possible through carpet cleaning alone.
Do you clean carpeted stairs?
Yes. We clean carpeted stairs using professional extraction equipment.
Each step is individually pre-treated, mechanically agitated when appropriate, thoroughly rinsed, and extracted.
Do you clean area rugs?
Yes. We clean many types of area rugs.
The cleaning method is selected based on the rug’s fiber type, construction, backing, and overall condition.
Delicate or specialty rugs may require a different cleaning method. We evaluate the material and condition of the rug before cleaning to determine the appropriate treatment.
Do you clean heavily soiled carpets?
Yes. We can treat heavily soiled carpets, including areas with significant soil buildup, heavy traffic lanes, stains, and organic contamination.
Depending on the condition of the carpet, additional pre-treatment, mechanical agitation, or specialized stain treatment may be required.
How often should carpets be professionally cleaned?
The recommended cleaning frequency depends on traffic, pets, children, and the overall condition of the carpet.
Carpets in homes with heavy foot traffic, pets, or higher levels of use may require professional cleaning more frequently.
How do I get a carpet cleaning quote?
You can request a quote online.
For a more accurate estimate, send us photos of your carpets by text message (747-466-6608) or attach them directly to the quote request form on our website.
For larger or more complex jobs, we can evaluate the carpeted area, condition, and type of carpet before providing a price.
How often should a sofa be professionally cleaned?
Once every 12 to 18 months for a normal household, and every 6 to 12 months if you have pets, small children, or the sofa is used every day. Regular cleaning also keeps the fabric from wearing out where dirt has been ground into the fibers.
Don’t wait for the scheduled cleaning after a spill or a pet accident. Fresh stains are much easier to remove than old ones that have had time to set into the fibers.
Can you remove pet stains and odors?
In most cases, yes. We treat pet stains and odors using professional extraction cleaning and, when appropriate, specialized enzyme treatment.
Surface-level contamination generally responds well to professional cleaning. However, more complex situations require individual assessment. In some cases, furniture or carpets may contain multiple areas of contamination, particularly when dealing with pet urine.
Multiple large urine contamination areas can penetrate deeply into upholstery, carpet fibers, and padding. In a damp environment, this type of contamination can create or intensify odors. After the material dries, the odor may decrease, but in some cases it can return several days later, especially when the contamination has penetrated deeply into the underlying materials.
In these situations, we assess the condition of the furniture or carpet and explain the potential risks to the customer before starting the job. Depending on the severity and depth of the contamination, we may recommend additional treatment, explain that a successful result cannot be guaranteed, or, in particularly severe cases, decline the job if we determine that professional cleaning is unlikely to provide an acceptable result.
Our goal is to clearly explain the expected results and limitations before the work begins, so the customer can make an informed decision.
What if I’m not happy with the cleaning?
Our professional approach and experience allow us to select the appropriate cleaning method based on the material, its condition, and the type of contamination. Different fabrics, upholstery materials, and carpet fibers require different cleaning approaches, so we take the specific material into consideration before starting the job. When necessary, we also explain any special drying requirements and care instructions in advance.
For an accurate assessment of the cleaning results, the furniture or carpet must be completely dry. The final appearance and results are best evaluated after the material has fully dried.
If, after drying, you feel that the result is not satisfactory, please let us know. We will first try to resolve the issue the same day, when possible, or we will return for a complimentary re-cleaning on another day that is convenient for you.
If you are still not satisfied after the re-cleaning, we will refund the full amount you paid for the service.
In some cases, the final result can depend not only on the cleaning itself but also on proper drying. If a particular material requires specific drying conditions, we will explain this to you and let you know about any potential risks. If our drying recommendations are not followed, the appearance or odor of the material may change as it dries.
Even in these situations, we remain open to working with you. We are always willing to return, evaluate the situation, and, when possible, properly address the issue.
Our goal is not simply to clean your furniture or carpets — it is to make sure you are satisfied with the result.
How do I get a cleaning quote?
Call or text us at 747-466-6608, or fill out the quote request form on this page. You can send photos by text message or attach them directly to the form.
For most jobs, photos of the furniture, carpet, or other item along with your ZIP code and a brief description of what needs to be cleaned are enough for us to provide an initial estimate. For larger or more complex jobs, we may need additional details about the size, material, condition, or type of contamination before providing a final price.
We’ll review your request and get back to you as soon as possible.
